one tower · two puppets · endless floors
The free demo and the wishlist button live on the same Steam page. A wishlist gets you a ping from Steam at launch — and tells Steam to show TOWERMOUTH to more players.
Couch co-op survivors-like action roguelite
A couch co-op roguelite where two puppets climb a tower that talks back — and bites.
Your puppets fire on their own: you run, jump, dash and pick up, and aim with your body. Clear the floor, the gate opens, pick your reward and climb; every level-up deals three cards that snowball your build.
About
The tower is alive. Its mouth is the gate, and its eye hangs above the gate, watching. It talks, remembers, bargains, and gets jealous, mostly of player two. It swallowed a town and is still digesting it. Arrogant but lonely: a pathetic god. It doesn’t love you, but it doesn’t want you to leave either.
It swallowed someone else too. You climb to take them back, and the tower always keeps them one floor up. “You’re not climbing me. You’re chasing someone I swallowed. Sweet.”
TOWERMOUTH is a couch co-op roguelite for one or two players on one screen, split down the middle. Your puppets fire on their own. You run, jump, dash and choose. Kill enough and you level up. Take the tower’s gifts and you change. Clear the floor, the gate opens, you go up. There is no top, only how high you get before it closes.
How it plays
- Clear, gate, climb. Every floor ends at the gate. Pick your reward, then take the stairs.
- Auto-fire, your footwork. Run, jump, dash (two charges) and pick up. You aim with your body.
- Three cards per level-up. Your build snowballs. Collect five copies of the same effect and it changes shape: Lightning Rod, Fuse Fist, Blood Web, Thorn Garden or Echo.
- The shop sells back what the tower swallowed. The sword, the potion and the curse all belonged to someone once. The tower takes a commission. No refunds.
- A Warden every fifth floor. Wardens are the tower’s antibodies. Each signature attack telegraphs with its own colour and shape, and there is always time to get out. Kill a Warden and you pick an ULT.
- Five tiers of digestion: COLD, UNCANNY, SICK, NIGHTMARE, HELL. At floor 21 the tower starts digesting you, and you can see it.
- Couch rules. Stand next to a downed partner for 2.5 seconds to revive them, or hold Interact to drag them out of the crowd. Dash in sync for a shockwave. If you both go down, the floor starts over and the run loses one of its three lives. Playing solo? The second screen closes and P1 takes the full view.
- The free demo covers the first 25 floors: two zones and the first great Warden.
